White tea is minimally processed tea. It is not oxidized, meaning it retains all its natural antioxidants Compared to green tea, it does not develop as much flavor, color, or caffeine content.
Is it really white in colour as assumed? Well not literally, White tea gets its name from its snowy/ silvery coloured brew.
Owing to the tedious labour one has to put in to process it, white tea is one of the most expensive tea produced.
White Tea is majorly produced in the Jianyang, Fuding and Songxi counties in Fujian Province.
